Who are we?
The North Pine Bush Poets group is made up of a friendly bunch of writers, performers and lovers of poetry as well as singers, musicians and other Entertainers.
Where are we?
Currently, due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are meeting by Zoom, but in normal times, you can find us on the first and third Sunday of the month, starting around 9.00am, at the Old Petrie Town Heritage Village, just west of Petrie, where we meet at the back of Coutt’s Cottage. We also meet with the Poets Off The Park on the third Tuesday of each month at St Margaret’s church hall, Rainbow Street, Sandgate, from 5.30pm for a meal and an evening of mixed entertainment.
Learn from us!
Our award-winning poets can also help you to develop your own rhyming and metred poetry – writing it and performing it. Both individual assistance and group workshops can be arranged and all you have to do is ask! We can help enhance your poetry to publication and competition standard.
We are always open to welcoming new members, whether as writers, performers, or fans of bush poetry.
